Natures turn…….

Useless Question

Finally one of those useless questions is answered. How does a wood stork poop in flight? He lowers his legs hoping it keeps it’s feet clean and lets it fly. Taken at Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge and I barely escaped.

When you gotta go, you gotta go. Was this taken recently? I need to head back down there to get more Stork shots.

This is very interesting to see in action! I have always noticed that Wood Storks extend their long legs neatly together behind them, but leave their legs dangling sort of awkwardly and loosely behind them once they get ready to land. This is quite an efficient alternative posture ;-D
