Natures turn…….

White-eyed Vireo

Made a trip back to Lafitte’s Cove, Galveston before all the migrants passed through heading south for the winter.  It must of been White-eyed Vireo day.  They certainly outnumbered all the others.

The wood in the first photo was a great landing spot for the photo.

Great poses and captures. Nice color and exposure on both. When did you get the D800?

Thanks Doug. Met someone at a boat race. He had two D800’s and spoke of selling one to buy a D4. Hmmm, asked him to give me a price. Bingo, it was fair and now I have one. This was the first time to use the camera. Had to do several fine tune adjustments in the field to get the focus close. Have to get my LenAlign out.
