Natures turn…….

All In The Family

Thanks to Doug Haass (http://doughaassphotography.blogspot.com/) and Tim Timmis (http://timtimmisblog.com/) recent blogs on the baby alligators.  After they told me where to find them they were easy to locate.  First time to actually hear them chirping.  Pretty cool in real life.  I will try to get some more pictures up later.

All shot with Nikon D4, 500mm, f/22, 1/60 flash, EV -0.33, ISO 640

Thanks Lyle, a real family just piling on.

Nice job getting them all stacked and in focus. I see you got parallel with the log to do so. That’s what I had to do the 2nd time around to get them all in focus.

Thanks Doug, it was the only way to get them all in focus. I got down low beside the tree. Mama was on the other side watching me but tolerant at that time.

Great shots David. Glad that you were able to find them. They are on both sides of the trail now so it was good that you had the opportunity to see them in mass on the log as I doubt that you will get that photo op again.
