Backlighting

I wish I could pause time when the lighting conditions are right .  Of course that’s not going to happen so you have to take full advantage of conditions that may present themselves.  This great egret was certainly presenting a good opportunity as it tried to keep its balance on thin branches.  It kept flapping its wings for balance giving some nice backlighting shots.  It wasn’t able to maintain and finally flew.

    When you figure out how to pause time during those magical seconds – please let me know! The backlight was wonderful on the feathers.
