Willet – Why I Like Early Morning Light

These were taken on Bolivar Flats early one morning.  I will get up at 04:00 and leave the house at 04:30 in order to get to the Galveston ferry by 05:30.  I can sit and think or just close my eyes waiting for the 06:00 ferry to get me to Bolivar.  Not long after 06:00 I am on the beach and it gives me a great feeling.  I love the sound of the water, distant birds, crisp cool or cold air and the thought of laying in the muck…..well not so much laying in the muck.  You get the idea.

Special light for special times.

Great shots David. Just wish that the sun would be out on the weekend one of these days.
