Natures turn…….

Black-bellied Whistling Duck

These were some difficult pictures taken one early cold foggy morning.  I watched the weather forecast and it was going to be bright and beautiful – not.  So many great opportunities but wait….I could barely see most of the time and the fog would not lift.  I had to work these over a bit because of the foggy look.  I waited and watched enjoying the morning even though the camera was having a tough time focusing.  Finally a small break around 09:00 which is usually the time I am headed back to my car to head home.  Even though it was a difficult morning for taking pictures it was pretty cool just being there sharing a moment with nature.  Now that warms the heart.

Terrific shots of these take-off / landing postures! I LOVE these birds, and they are really at their peak here now – hope to see some ducklings very soon.
